“First, let me say that I’m sorry that this note is so late in being sent. I’m sure you are wondering if I received my necklace and if I still love it as much as I did when I first laid eyes on it. It arrived on Tuesday, June 25, and I couldn’t wait to open the package. And then- there they were in all their glorious green sparkles. Honestly, I have never in my whole life seen so many peridots gathered in one place, especially in that lovely green that only really good peridots show. No buyer’s remorse here!! When I first saw them in your shop, I didn’t look at them too closely, particularly after I was told their price but I couldn’t get them out of my head. I have spent on several occasions that much money on jewelry, but not frequently. I can well afford it, but sometimes it isn’t easy to rationalize spending that amount of money on something that is really a luxury. I am the product of immigrant German farmers, where it was considered all right if you spent money on something very practical, but not on something like jewelry, which doesn’t fall into the category of something you really need to have. However, I have managed to overcome that feeling a number of times and been good to myself and not regretted it. 

After I opened the box, I played with those gorgeous things. Of course, they look great against white, but loving color (I do colored pencil artwork), I experimented a bit and against pale pink or pale blue, those beauties really POP!!

They are my birthday present to me from me and I will be eighty-six on August 7. Thanks for having such a beautiful gift for me to purchase.”
